Turmeric essential is an absolutely incredible anti aging and skin protective substance. It activates over a dozen anti inflammatory proteins inside the skin, and blocks a highly inflammatory molecule known as Nf-kb. Turmeric also activates something known as protective transcription factors, or NRF2’s. These NRF2’s are like super-antioxidants that do not get consumed during the free radical neutralizing process. Instead, they keep attracting more electrons to themselves, in turn providing longer and more optimized cell protection.
Turmeric has also long been used in the ancient Indian system of medicine known as Ayurveda, and is considered to be a warming and strengthening herb. Along with use internally, Turmeric is used in Ayurveda to to speed up wound healing and reduce inflammation.
