Cinnamomum Glaucescens
India
Laurel Berries grow on a small tree whose wood is cultivated mainly for use as fence posts and as supporters of wine plants. Once steam distilled and de-waxed, Laurel Berry essential oil is pale yellow, greenish yellow, or olive green with a fresh medicinal, yet pleasantly spicy and warm aroma, reminiscent of myrtle, juniperberry, hyssop, and similar oils. Laurel Berry oil can be used as an insect repellant, an antiseptic and antibacterial oil, and as an exotic culinary herb oil.
